Our story

Our company emerged in the market in 2014 as BlueFin HR with a benefits technology platform with development and support provided by affiliate, Prime Care Technologies. In 2022, the company became primeFORCE and its solutions grew to include a full range of UKG technical services, previously provided by Prime Care Technologies.

Our history

Our partnership to support workforce software started +15 years ago with Prime Care Technologies and Kronos. It continues to grow under new company identities – primeFORCE and UKG.

Prime Care Technologies powers our IT solutions and we share a headquarters. It is based in Atlanta with 125+ employees and 200+ healthcare/IT partnerships. Its technology-driven solutions have been leveraged in 7,500+ facilities across the U.S.

Spencer Thomas

General Manager

Spencer joined the Prime Care Technologies team in 2019 and in 2022 he assumed leadership of the primeFORCE affiliate company. He has over 20 years experience of sales leadership and business development experience in healthcare, primarily focused on the delivery of value-based products/services, including training and staffing technology.

Joseph Stone

Executive Vice President

Joe joined in 2013, providing leadership, sales innovation and strategic business development to the newly formed company. He has 55 years experience helping customers reduce benefits costs, recruit/retain a strong workforce, and ensure company/employee compliance with federal and state requirements.

Jim Hoey

President and Chairman

Jim founded Prime Care Technologies in 2003. He has 30+ years of experience as an IT leader in the healthcare industry.

Carl Mickiewicz

Chief Executive Officer

Carl joined Prime Care Technologies in 2017 as the COO. He has served the senior care industry for nearly 30 years in various roles including technology, operations, business development, customer success, and reimbursement. His robust experience positions Carl to fully appreciate the needs of senior care operators.
